DREX is a rock music project from the Dominican Republic, active. Its author, composer and producer is JOAQUIN DE RAMON, sole owner of the rights to the work. DREX is a studio project designed to live online: seven studio albums, two rock operas, a distinctive visual identity for each era, and a direct relationship with its audience through music, video and its social channels.

DREX has spent more than eighteen years building its own musical universe. The catalogue brings together seven studio albums and two rock operas that move through melodic rock, hard rock and concept rock. Every song has been written and composed exclusively by JOAQUIN DE RAMON, which keeps authorship clear and centralized, particularly valuable for audiovisual projects and licensing processes.

Each album marks a different stage in DREX's artistic evolution. Chica de Revista is the awakening: desire, freedom, and the search for a voice of one's own amid the lights and contradictions of the city. Resurgir turns the comeback into a statement of strength, identity and perseverance. Hierro Vivo unfolds an industrial imaginary of engines, metal and endurance, also paying tribute to those who sustain the world through everyday work.

In Metamorfosis, the gaze becomes deeper and more conceptual: a journey through the loss of certainty, manipulation, memory, and personal and collective transformation. Cartografía del Asombro takes that universe into space and turns curiosity into a cosmic voyage about encounter, responsibility and the value of our common home. Finally, Nadie Sale Guapo de Aquí steps into the most human, raw and ironic side of existence: a territory of conflict, contradiction and scars where nobody comes through the experience without being exposed or transformed.

The DREX universe extends through two rock operas conceived as continuous narrative works, in which the songs, the characters and the spoken passages form a single story.

Metamorfosis — Rock Opera presents a city ruled by noise, screens and fear. After a long inner eclipse, DREX awakens and, alongside Mara, begins to uncover the mechanisms of power and manipulation hidden behind the chaos. Across 23 chapters, both must face those who rule from the shadows and also their own ghosts. It is a story of resistance, memory and identity where music turns wounds into strength and darkness into revelation.

Cartografía del Asombro — Rock Opera begins with a mysterious signal picked up by an antenna built on the rooftop of a neighborhood. The discovery drives twelve travelers to embark on a six-year expedition into the unknown. Along the way they discover that exploring does not mean conquering, and that understanding a new form of life demands listening before imposing. Its 23 chapters build a journey about curiosity, cooperation and responsibility, where the universe stops being a territory to dominate and becomes a partner in conversation.

DREX's digital distribution runs through the main music platforms, while the two rock operas can be heard as continuous works on the official website. More than a series of releases, the discography forms a work in constant expansion: each album and each opera holds its own imaginary, its own characters and its own recognizable visual language, yet all remain connected by a single artistic identity.
